the best salad ever

My roommate and I are grocery shopping. She hates salads. I mention that I know of a russian lady that loved salads but couldn't eat them because the communists had no lettuce. So she went without eating lettuce for seven years. When she finally escaped and came to the United States, the first thing she ate was a salad.
